THE BACHELOR IN MANAGEMENT, A NATIONAL STATE HIGHER EDUCATION DEGREEch

 

The Bachelor in Management is a French national state degree delivering 180 ECTS

 

It is a three year full-time/part-time national state degree programme that aims to develop and strengthen the fundamental skills of students and to prepare them for further study in a master's degree programme in France or abroad as well as take general management positions. It also aims to prepare students to work collectively in an international and ever-changing environment.

 

Conducted in English, the program consists of six semesters with the objective to provide students with a solid foundation in management, finance, accounting, human resource management, and other business-related areas in a real-world setting. During the third year, the program includes a professional internship and an international semester (international mobility either through a full semester in a foreign partner university or through a professional internship in an international organization) and enables students to choose a major.

The Bachelor in Management is a resolutely international program operated by two excellent partner institutions: CEFCO Business Education in Switzerland and Grenoble IAE-INP, Université Grenoble Alpes in France.

With more than 1100 students per year, CEFCO -, has been a leader in the field of executive business education in Switzerland (Romandy) for 30 years.

Grenoble IAE-INP, UGA is the Graduate School of Management of the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA). Its mission is to train and develop both specialized managers and dual-competence managers. To fulfil its mission, Grenoble IAE draws from hands-on practical expertise and world-class management researchers.

 

AN INTERNATIONAL MULTI-CAMPUS EXPERIENCE ch fr eu

 

During each of the 3 years of the BIM degree, students can study in 3 different locations, Switzerland (Lausanne CEFCO Campus – semesters 1 to 4),

France (Grenoble IAE-INP, UGA campus – semester 5), and at one of our numerous partner universities campuses (international semester – semester 6).

The international experience is also based on Lausanne and Grenoble multicultural environment and on Grenoble IAE student body ( in the third year 20% of the students are international students coming from more than 25 countries) and international faculty.

VERY FLEXIBLE LEARNING MODALITIES FOR AN « À LA CARTE » LEARNING EXPERIENCE

 

The learning methods of the program are very flexible and allow students to organize themselves according to their constraints:

- Full face-to-face (campus based): first two years in Switzerland (CEFCO Business Education Campus in Lausanne), 3rd year in France (Grenoble IAE-INP Campus, UGA in Grenoble)

- Hybrid online / face-to-face: 1st year online, 2nd year in Switzerland (Campus of CEFCO Business Education A Lausanne), 3rd year in France (Campus of Grenoble IAE-INP, UGA in Grenoble) OR first 2 years online and 3rd year in France (Campus of Grenoble IAE-INP, UGA in Grenoble)

- Hybrid "Flex online": the "Flex-on line" system allows the student to connect to a platform to access pre-recorded courses allowing him to follow up to 60% of the curriculum by organizing his schedule according to his availability. The remaining 40% can be taken online or face to face.

 

ACCREDITATIONS, RANKINGS AND RECOGNITION

In addition to the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education accreditation (specific to national state higher education degrees), Grenoble IAE's Bachelor in Management degree programme is the only French bachelor in management national state degree to be accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

EFMD programme accreditation is the most thorough programme accreditation system for business and/or management degrees and courses. It constitutes a benchmark for what is considered an internationally recognised programme and places the program among the best in its class.

Université Grenoble Alpes ranks each year in the Top 100-250 group of the best world universities in all major international rankings and is in the Top 10 of French higher education institutions. The Bachelor degree program is delivered over three years structured in two stages.

Second stage: Year 3 – Campus Grenoble IAE-INP, UGA -Grenoble France + Partner Institution Campus - Europe
